Now
I sit me down in school
Where
praying
is against the rule
For this great nation under God
Finds
mention of Him very odd.



If
Scripture now the class recites,
It violates the Bill of
Rights.
And anytime my head I bow
Becomes a Federal matter
now.



Our
hair can be purple, orange or green,
That's no offense; it's a
freedom scene.
The law is specific, the law is
precise..
Prayers spoken aloud are a serious vice.



For
praying in a public hall
Might offend someone with no faith at
all.
In silence alone we must meditate,
God's name is
prohibited by the state.



We're
allowed to cuss and dress like freaks,
And pierce our noses, tongues
and cheeks..
They've outlawed guns, but FIRST the Bible.
To
quote the Good Book makes me liable.



We
can elect a pregnant Senior Queen,
And the 'unwed daddy,' our Senior
King.
It's 'inappropriate' to teach right from wrong,
We're
taught that such 'judgments' do not belong.



We
can get our condoms and birth controls,
Study witchcraft, vampires
and totem poles.
But the Ten Commandments are not
allowed,
No word of God must reach this crowd.



It's
scary here I must confess,
When chaos reigns the school's a
mess.
So, Lord, this silent plea I make:
Should I be shot;
My soul please take!
Amen

9/11 Trials

I'm so frustrated that the US Attorney General is allowing and WANTS the 9/11 masterminds to be tried in a civilian court. These men acted in WAR against the United States. It was a TERRORIST attack. Why, then should this take place in civilian court?

Liberals, and Eric Holder, believe that since most of the people that were killed were civilians...that we should let the civilians be a part of the trial. Thanks...but NO THANKS! These men ATTACKED OUR COUNTRY. They do NOT deserve the same CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS as citizens of our country! The justice system James Madison came up with does NOT offer protections for non citizens. We don't put citizens who act in TREASON in civilian court, why put terrorists in it?

This is not to mention the fact that they also attacked our Pentagon. It's just plain ridiculous. This deserves to be in a military court.

Doing this is decriminalizing the war. What happens in the future when military officials take war criminals into custody? Do they have to read their miranda rights? Can they still question them?

This is a bad precedent to set. Yet...who is surprised....this administration will ruin the very foundations this country is built upon.

If a conservative doesn't like guns, he doesn`t buy one.
If a liberal doesn't like guns, he wants all guns outlawed.

If a conservative is a vegetarian, he doesn`t eat meat.
If a liberal is a vegetarian, he wants all meat products banned for everyone.

If a conservative doesn’t like to hunt because he believes its cruel to animals, he doesn’t hunt.
If a liberal thinks hunting is cruelty to animals, he wants all hunting to be outlawed.


If a conservative perceives an evil threat to America , he thinks about ways to defeat it.
A liberal ponders ways to make it happy and go away on its own.

If a conservative is a homosexual, he will nevertheless seek respect from his peers like heterosexuals do - through honesty, hard work, and public service.
If a liberal is homosexual, he demands legislated respect for his homosexuality.

If a black man or Hispanic is conservative, they see themselves as independently successful.
Their liberal counterparts see themselves as victims in need of government protection.

If a conservative is down-and-out, he thinks about how to better his situation.
A liberal looks for the corporation who victimized him and wonders who is going to take care of him.

If a conservative doesn't like a talk show host, he switches channels.
Liberals demand that those whose message with which they disagree, be silenced.

If a conservative is a non-believer, he doesn't go to church.
A liberal non-believer wants any mention of God and religion driven from the public forum.
(Unless, of course, it's a religion at war with America !)

If a conservative decides he needs health care, he goes about shopping for it, or may choose a job that provides it.
A liberal calls it a “fundamental right” and demands that the rest of us pay for his.

Purpose

I LOVE to blog! I LOVE to discuss my family. I LOVE to discuss politics of a conservative nature. The two topics I love to blog about don't mesh well in ONE blog.

The purpose of this blog is mainly for my release of political frustrations. I'm tired of the liberal swing our country has taken. I'm tired of the liberal "smugness" that has taken over so many people I know. I'm tired of feeling like I should apologize for my views. I have a degree in History and Political Science. That being said, I am well versed in the history of our government and politics. My choice to be Conservative is NOT because my parents are...or because I'm rich, (Lord knows I'm not rich in monetary standars). It is MY choice! I have studied the course our nation has taken...and choose the conservative mindset. So to the Liberals who like to call me an idiot for this choice, DON'T TREAD ON ME!
